In Patients Experience
Your Home for Recovery and Advanced Treatment
Inpatient care refers to the services and accommodation provided to patients who need to be formally admitted to the hospital for treatment, monitoring, or recovery that requires an overnight stay or longer. Our goal is to provide a safe, healing environment supported by compassionate, coordinated care.
The Inpatient Experience
Admission and Coordination
Once your physician determines you require admission, our Case Management team works to coordinate your room assignment, treatment plan, and communication among your various specialists (e.g., surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, therapists). You will be settled into a patient room equipped with essential medical technology and personal amenities.
Multidisciplinary Care Team
Hospitalists: Physicians who specialize in caring for hospitalized patients. They oversee your treatment, order tests, and coordinate with specialists.
Registered Nurses (RNs): The primary caregivers who monitor your condition, administer medication, and provide direct care.
Specialty Consultants: Doctors brought in from specific fields (e.g., Nephrology, Infectious Disease) to address complex conditions.
Therapists and Nutritionists: Professionals who help plan your rehabilitation and dietary needs.
Patient Safety and Comfort
Patient safety is our top priority. We use strict protocols for infection control, medication administration, and fall prevention. We encourage patients and family members to be active partners in care by asking questions and confirming information.
Preparing for Discharge
Discharge is a critical step in your recovery. Our team begins planning for it from the moment you are admitted.
Case Managers will coordinate any necessary home care, skilled nursing placement, or rehabilitation services.
You will receive detailed instructions on medications, follow-up appointments, and symptoms that would require you to seek immediate medical attention.
We ensure you have access to your Patient Portal to review your medical summary and discharge documents.
Our commitment to your health extends beyond your hospital stay.
